Katelyn Briney, MA, AMFT is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 138555). Pronouns: she/her/hers. Katelyn is friendly, non-judgmental, compassionate, and empathetic. Katelyn values her time with clients and believes in collaboration with clients so they gain the most out of therapy. Katelyn understands no two people are the same and seeks to develop a good rapport with her clients to hear their life story and the reasons for therapy to ensure the best possible care.

Katelyn received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University in 2022 and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Cal State San Marcos in 2018. Katelyn’s professional work experience in the field expands over two years of clinical work with children, teens, families, individuals and couples.

Katelyn is being clinically supervised by Soojin Poole, LMFT at Personal Evolution Psychotherapy and is continuing her education and training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
