Matthew Holley, MA, LMFT
Matthew Holley is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT89836). Matthew received his Masters in Counseling in 2000 at Gordon-Conwell on the north shore of Boston, and is looking forward to working closely with those in the LGBTQ and trans communities in San Diego. He enjoys offering gender therapy and comprehensive DBT to individuals (adults & teens), and working with families and couples.
Matthew has many years of experience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, family therapy centers and residential treatment facilities in Massachusetts and New York City. In 2008, he moved to San Diego where he has worked as a clinician in short-term residential treatment and outpatient therapy settings. While Matthew has worked with a variety of clientele of various ages and presenting issues, he has often focused his treatment towards the adolescent and young adult population.
Matthew believes that providing a safe space for individuals to share their challenges and difficulties, and working with those individuals to identify goals for their treatment, are keys to beginning an effective therapeutic process that will yield tangible positive results in the day-to-day life for his clients.
