Anna Hagel, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. Anna is a genuine, empathetic, patient and non-judgmental therapist who welcomes the opportunity to assist clients as they explore the many challenges of life.
Anna earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Denver and her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Anna's previous experience includes clinical internships at elementary, middle and high schools providing individual therapy to students experiencing behavioral issues as well as truancy problems. She has also had the opportunity to work with children and families where she provided intensive in-home and outpatient services in order for the children to remain in their home. Anna has had additional experience providing therapy and support to pregnant women experiencing issues with substance abuse and domestic violence. She is also a certified yoga instructor.
Anna's first employment experience was licensing foster homes in Racine, Wisconsin and coordinating the foster care placements. Foster care and adoption are very close to Anna's heart as she was adopted from Korea to a lovely family in Minnesota when she was 7 months old.
